The drainage ditch that runs through the municipal land was dug last summer, except for the grain field, which was not cleaned out because it was not dry, and therefore could not be cleared due to the large amount of water. However, our cleaning efforts are also ineffective because the further drainage through the Polajewo forest district has not been opened and cleaned. We therefore kindly request that the Royal Land Office kindly inform the Royal Polajewo Forest Office of this matter so that the drainage we have cleaned can be effective. We therefore request that the ditch be properly cleaned as soon as possible in the coming spring, as soon as the weather permits.
The burial ground has so far been marked by a ditch instead of a fence, but a few years ago we wanted to replace it with a living fence. We planted willows next to the others that are still standing, but they are not growing well. We therefore request that, if necessary, a proper fence be erected by next spring.

In response to the report of November 28 concerning the cleaning of a drainage ditch running through the communal land and the enclosure of the burial ground, the mayor’s office is hereby informed that, due to the initial situation, I have today written to the Royal Land Registry Office of the Oborniker district requesting further investigation, The outcome of this request is to be evaluated.
I hereby grant a deadline of April 1 for the enclosure of the burial ground, failing which I will impose the penalty specified in the notice, provided that the matter has been fully noted.

The Schulzen office in Gembitzhauland
By my decree of December 10, 1830, the Schulzen office was instructed we would impose a penalty on April 1 if the boundary of the burial ground was not completely marked. However, instead of this notice being reported on April 1, it was reported that the boundary in question had been marked due to public holidays, so that all violations could be prevented and the threatened penalty could be waived.
However, this is subject to the condition that, after 14 days, council will report that the aforementioned fence has been completed.

Gembitzhauland, April 6, 1863
The Gembitz-hauland churchyard is already enclosed by a fence, which is complete except for a few places where the fence has fallen down. I have informed the two farmers who are responsible for repairing this section, as they have not been asked to do so by the others. The Schulzen office has therefore ordered the two or three negligent farmers to fulfill their duty or, if they are unable to do so, to have the repairs carried out at their own expense.

To the Schulzen office in Gembitzhauland
The pastor in Gembitz has informed us that the fence surrounding the local cemetery needs to be repaired in several places and that this work must be carried out by certain farmers. I therefore hereby request that those who are responsible for maintaining the damaged parts of the fence carry out this repair work immediately, whereby it should be noted that in the event of delay, the work for their parish will be transferred to another party. This order is to be carried out immediately, and I will issue a 14-day notice of the final decision.
Czarnikau, September 19, 1866
The Royal District Administrator, Mr. Honeg Hochmehlgeboren, is respectfully informed that the need for a new burial ground in Gembitz-Hauland is very urgent, as there is hardly any space left in the current cemetery, which belongs to the local political community. I would ask everyone to support the proposal to establish a new cemetery, and I would like to request the assistance of Pastor Wenig in obtaining the necessary approval from the higher authorities.

Regarding the urgent matter of procuring a separate burial site in Gembitz Hauland, the following members of the local council appeared at today’s meeting
1. Schulzen Gottlieb Krenz
2. Schoffen Friedrich Schendel and
3. Schoffen Ludwig Kropp
The petitioners declare the following in accordance with the decree of the Royal Government in Bromberg of November 12:
The school land in our town covers approximately 33 ¾ Morgens, part of which is wasteland and sand, which is not cultivated and will not be cultivated in the future. We therefore request that 1 ½ Morgens of this fallow land be ceded or donated as a burial ground for our community, whereby the school land will not be reduced in size. No compensation will be paid for the ceded area and no further payments will be required.

Below is a remission of the report dated November 8, opened to me by Your Highness, That I find nothing to object to in the community request for the establishment of a new cemetery for the political community from Gembitz Hauland on the 1 ½ Morgen of school land ceded free of charge by the school authorities, but that an attempt will be made to obtain the consent of the authorities for this cession.
