Property 15

Johann Gottlieb and Anna nee Werner Biegel sold 30 Morgen of Property 2 to a group of investors by contract April 10, 1863 for 1,440 Thaler.  The investors were Christoph and Apollonia nee Krenz Frieske, Peter and Julie nee Cybelska Krenz, and Joseph and Ribiane nee Pepke Wiese.  The contract was satisfied on January 30, 1866.  This partition became Property 15.

On March 24, 1869 Joseph and Ribiane Wiese signed a contract to sell their share of the property to Joseph Kühn and Rosalie nee Quade for a parcel measuring 25 Morgen in Number 10 Klein Kroschin and 357 Thaler. The contract was registered on June 2nd.

The Kühns held the property until signing a sales contract with Martin Dräger (born 1840) and his wife Louise nee Siewert (1840-1890), the owners of Property 16, on July 13, 1873. That contract was registered on November 24, 1873.

On September 18, 1874 Johann Friedrich Harmel (1848-1922) and his wife Wilhelmine nee Dräger (1833-1902) farmers from Gembitz Hauland purchased Christoph and Apollonia Frieskes share of the property.  Wilhelmine Harmel was the sister of Martin Dräger and the widow of the brother of Friedrich Wegner from Property 8.

On October 5, 1874 the Harmel’s purchased the final share of the property from Peter and Julia Krenz for 560 Thaler.

Gottlieb Siewert (1838-1921) and his wife Henriette nee Krenz (born 1825) from Smieskowo Kreis Czarnikau purchased by a notarial purchase contract from Martin and Louise Dräger a portion of the couple’s share of the property.  This contract was registered on April 10, 1876 and then cancelled on May 3, 1877.  Gottlieb was the brother of Anna Louise nee Siewert Dräger and Friedrich Siewert the owner of the neighboring Property 14.

Friedrich and Wilhelmine Harmel again became sole owners of the property on May 25, 1877.  The contract was registered on June 14, 1877.

Prior to emigrating to America the Harmels sold the property to August Kurtz (1851-1898) and his wife Wilhelmine Ernestine nee Gehlhar (1859 – 1927) from Gembitz Hauland.  Following August’s death Ernestine married Rudolph Ludwig Lüning (born 1866) from Wischin Hauland on April 15, 1899.  On April 7th Ernestine became the sole owner of the property after an inheritance contract of 1,300 Marks was filed against the property for the couple’s children, Alwine Berth (born 1881), Gustav August (born 1883), Paul Richard (born 1885), Emma Wanda (born 1888), Ida Maria (born 1892), Emma Theresa (born 1894), and Elisabeth (born 1897).   In addition to this property the Kurtz’ also owned Farm 7 in Gembitz Hauland.  Following August’s death Ernestine also became the owner of this property.

Ludwig Lüning was registered as a joint owner of the property on July 14, 1910.

Following Ernestine’s death in Gebiczyn, on March 7, 1927, her daughter Emma Wanda nee Kurtz (born 1888) received title to the property on December 16, 1929.  Emma Wanda was the wife of Emil Siewert the owner of neighboring Property 14.  However, the records show that she is living in Gebicyzn in 1929.


Property 16

Johann Julius Wiese (born June 1840) and his wife Julianne nee Biegel (born September 1845) purchased a 15 Morgen partition of Property 2 at the time of their marriage on November 10, 1863 from Julianne’s parents Gottlieb (born 1822) and Anna nee Werner Biegel (Born 1817) for 850 Thaler by contract dated October 26, 1863 and May 8, 1864.  The sale of the property was registered on January 30, 1866.

Julius and Julianne Wiese sold the property to Martin Dräger and his wife Anna Louise nee Siewert on March 18, 1870 for 410 Thaler.  This contract was registered on June 14, 1870. 

 Gottlieb Siewert (1838-1921) and his wife Henriette nee Krenz (born 1825) from Smieskowo Kreis Czarnikau purchased by a notarial purchase contract from Martin and Louise Dräger for a portion of the couple’s share of the property.  This contract was registered on April 10, 1876 and then cancelled on May 3, 1877.  Gottlieb was the brother of Anna Louise nee Siewert Dräger and Friedrich Siewert the owner of the neighboring Property 14.

Anna Louisa nee Siewert Dräger dies on April 19, 1890.  On March 24 1891 an inheritance contract is registered against the property resulting in Martin becoming the sole owner.  In exchange his children Emma Marie (1870-1931), Louise Auguste (1873-1941), Emil Hermann (born 1875), Louise Wanda (born 1879) and Emil Otto (1884-1919) each receive a mother’s inheritance of 381 Marks which totaled 1,903 Marks.  This contract was registered on June 4, 1891.

Following the completion of the inheritance contract for the Dräger siblings their father transfers ownership of the property to his oldest son Friedrich Gustav Dräger on August 13, 1891.

Gustav Dräger later marries Emma Auguste nee Steinberg (1872 – 1934) from Strozewo Hauland.  On May 12, 1909 the couple registers as joint owners of the property.  Following Emma’s death the property was transferred to their daughter Elizabeth in 1934.  Elizabeth marries Willi Hoffmann in 1935 and the property becomes joint in 1936.


Property 17

Johann Gottlieb and Anna nee Werner Biegel partitioned another 15 Morgen from Property 2 on January 24, 1865.  On that date he signed a contract that was registered on January 30, 1866 to sell the new partition to Gottlieb Welke (1830-1900) and his wife Louise nee Schendel (1832-1910) for 628 Thaler.

The couple held the property until transferring it to their son Johann August Welke (1863-1933) on January 28, 1890 one week prior to his marriage to Auguste Emilie Klukas (born 1861).  The property was registered jointly on March 27, 1909.

On May 26, 1930 the couple transfers ownership of the property to their son Johann August (born 1894) and his wife Magdelina Wegner.


Property 20

An additional 3 Morgen containing a house and barn was partitioned from Folium 2 on June 7, 1873.  On that date Gottlieb Dräger (1846-1923) and his wife Rosina nee Fisher (1847-1918) became the owners of this new property. 

Following Rosina’s death on July 23, 1918 Gottlieb transferred the property to their daughter Pauline Olga (born 1895) following her marriage to Hugo Rudolph Jeborek (born 1896) on October 25, 1918.  The property was registered to the newly married couple on December 12, 1918.
