Land Records

Friedrich Damm and his wife, Anna Rosina, née Manthey, pursuant to the inheritance agreements dated January 12, July 21, and September 9, 1830, from her mother and, respectively, his mother-in-law, Anna Rosine, widow of Jacob Manthey (née Oelke), for two hundred eighty-five thalers and a life annuity for the widow, with the consent granted by the landlord von Paliszewski on April 20, 1830. The widow Manthey took over the same property following the death of her husband, Jacob Manthey, as stated in the inheritance settlement in the division of assets with her children for the sum of 285. However, according to the testimony of the witnesses heard during the proceedings on May 3, 1831, Peter Siewert and Daniel Hoffmann, Jacob Manthey had possessed it peacefully and undisturbed for more than 44 years. Therefore, the title to the estate was registered for Friedrich and Anna Rosina Damms, husband and wife, by decree of August 29, 1831, on the basis of these documents.
No conclusive genealogical documents have been found for Friedrich Damms or his wife Anna Rosina Manthey.
