On March 25, 1621, Adam Sandzivos Czarnkow issued the founding privilege for the village of Fitzerie within the Sarben and Kruschewo forests. Johann Schmidt as Schulzen, Peter Schmidt as innkeeper, and 10 farmers and cottagers agree to establish the community. Johann Schmidt paid Adam Czarnkow 650 zloty for two full farms of 18 morgens each, the right to fish on Lake Gesonin, and the right to brew beer four times a year. He was required to found the village according to the customs of Althütte and Lemnitz. Peter Schmidt, as innkeeper, received one full farm. Each farmer was to receive one full farm of 18 morgen. The village was to have seven years of freedom until Pentecost 1628. The taxes were to be the same as Althütte and Kasimierz.
In 1663, Daniel Schmidt, the son of the Schulze Johann Schmidt, married Margaret Schendel, the daughter of the Beyersdorf Schulze Christoph Schendel. Johann Schmidt died in 1669. The inheritance agreement between his survivors designates his son Johann as his successor as Schulze. This privilege was renewed by Katharina Naramowska on November 5, 1698.
On December 6, 1697, Katharina Naramowska renewed the privilege of Peter Schmidt, the heir to the Fitzerie inn, and his wife Elisabeth Friske. The Schmidts must pay 100 zloty in interest and an additional 20 zloty instead of a cartload and a lamb tithe.
