Martin Sawall Junior, who lived in a community of marriage and property with his wife, Anne Dorothea, née Degner, according to the sworn testimony of two fully credible witnesses, acquired the title of ownership to Farm 5 through a contract executed in 1815. He received the property from his parents, Martin Sawall Sr. and Anne Christine Mittelstadt in exchange for a life estate for them and the settlement of his siblings’ claims. The title of ownership for the married couple Martin and Anne Dorothea nee Degner Sawall was confirmed by decree on April 20, 1826.
Martin Sawall Senior died of exhaustion on September 17, 1817, in Gembitzhauland. He was 57 years old, making his calculated birth year 1760.
Martin Sawall Junior and his wife Anne Dorothea nee Degner had at least four sons between 1816 and 1823. Their youngest known son was Martin Sawall III born in February 1823.
Martin Sawall III, then only 20 years old, acquired Farm 5 by a judicial contract dated November 10, 1842. In the contract, which was approved by the guardianship court on January 27, 1843, the younger Sawall paid his parents 600 thalers and granted them a life estate. The title to the property was transferred to him pursuant to the court decree on January 30, 1843.
Martin Sawall III married Anna Christina Heyer (born 1823) in 1843 or 1844. The couple had six children, the oldest being Anna Rosina Wilhelmine Sawall, born January 2, 1845. Anna Christina died of consumption on March 16, 1864.
The widower Martin Sawall married Auguste Emilie Marten (1844-1909) on July 10, 1864. Auguste Emilie was the daughter of Daniel and Louise nee Kurz Marten, the former owners of Farm 37. The couple had five children in Gembitzhauland between 1865 and 1872. They then had at least two more children after moving to nearby Palizewo, Kreis Czarnikau.
Martin Sawall III died in Palizewo on May 8, 1907.
On October 1, 1855, Martin Sawall is recorded as the owner of the property.

Martin Pfeiffer and his wife Ernestine Wilhelmine Lindemann (1834-1887) were both from Radom. They moved to Gembitzhauland between 1871 and 1875. Their daughter Pauline Ottilie married Friedrich Wilhelm Witt in Gembitzhauland on September12, 1875.
Friedrich and Ottilie Witt had 11 children in Gembitzhauland. The couple later moved to Gornitz, Kreis Filehne where they lived for the balance of their life. Their oldest daughter Wanda Martha married Ewald Milbradt in 1897 and became the owners of neighboring Farm 4.
Farm 5 was sold to Albert Kluck on February 7, 1905. Subsequently Kluck sold the property to Hermann Baum on May 19, 1905.
Hermann Baum was born on December 26, 1862. At the time of his marriage to Auguste Emilie Zieske (born 1859) in 1887 he is a master wheelwright living in Gembitzhauland. By the time of his last son, Erich Arthur’s, birth in 1901 his occupation is listed as wheelwright and farmer. Today a separate residence, Gebiczyn 11, is located across the road from the main Farm 5. The Baum family may have been living there. Between 1913 and 1918 the family moved to Fissahn, Kreis Filene.
Property Tax 1863-1865
The property tax records list Martin Sawall as the sole owner of Farm 5.
Church Affairs and Parish Tax 1876- 1879
For each of the four years Friedrich Wilhelm Witt is recorded as a farmer on the property. In 1877 his father-in-law, Martin Pfeiffer, paid a tax as a pensioner.

Building Register June 1, 1907
In this record Hermann Baum, a farmer, is the owner of Farm 5. The farm consists of a house, a horse and cattle barn, another barn, a pig barn and a cellar (likely a dugout).
Community Register 1921 – 1933
The community register created after Gembitzhauland (now Gebiczyn) becomes part of Poland lists Ewald Fischer as living on this property.
Ewald Fischer (1875 – died prior to 1945) and his wife Marie Martha Domke (1879-1946) had owned Farm 2A on the building register from June 1, 1907. They moved to Wischen in 1908 or 1909. On August 18, 1909, their son Otto was born there. On April 4, 1913, the couple with their children moved to Farm 5, today Gebiczyn 10.
A division of the property had taken place at some point. In 1921 Reinhold Krenz (born in Sokolowo, Kreis Czarnikau in 1867) a former master shoemaker in Gembitz and his wife Karolina Papke (born in Niewiemko in 1874) and their son Karl Krenz (born in Gembitz in 1895) moved to house number 11, today Gebiczyn 11, on October 12, 1917. Karl Krenz married Elsa Guse (born 1901) from Wischinhauland on July 1, 1930.
